Transit Times is a project of the National Association of Railroad Passengers funded through private foundation grants. The aim of this project is to inform and facilitate travelers to go from doorstep to doorstep utilizing public transit options.

The mission of the National Association of Railroad Passengers (NARP) is to work for a modern, customer-focused national passenger train network that provides a travel choice Americans want.
NARP is the largest national membership advocacy organization for train and rail transit passengers. We have worked since 1967 to expand the quality and quantity of passenger rail in the United States. Our work is supported by more than 25,000 individual members.

NARP is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, which is elected by the all-volunteer Council of Representatives, our national advisory body elected by the general membership by state.
